Secex data released on October 6 show Brazil shipped 235,800 tonnes of green coffee in September, equivalent to about 3.93 million 60-kilogram bags. It was the highest monthly green-coffee volume in 20 months and 20.4% above September 2025. Export receipts reached US$1.294 billion, up 8.7% year over year, while the average unit price fell 9.8%. Reuters and Safras & Mercado reported the same Secex green-coffee series.

Cecafé later reported 3.894 million bags of all coffee products in September, up 3.1% year over year, with US$1.282 billion in revenue, down 7.1%. CNN Brasil reported those Cecafé figures separately. The Cecafé total-products series and Secex green-only series have different scopes and should not be treated as interchangeable. The Secex figures describe exports and receipts, not prices paid to growers or farm profitability.
