Parliamentarians from the Workers’ Party (PT) and allies of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva have adopted the visual element of Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign slogan, highlighting the letter “V” in green and yellow, to create a new meme that ties the senator to businessman Daniel Vorcaro. The initiative began with informal social media posts, including a statement by the deputy government leader in the Chamber of Deputies, Alencar Santana (PT‑SP), who described stylizing the “V” in Bolsonaro’s name as a “just homage” to Vorcaro. Other lawmakers, such as Bohn Gass (PT‑RS), shared crossword‑style graphics that intertwine the senator’s name with the financier’s. Former PT leader Lindbergh Farias (RJ) announced plans to release a video meme in which he forms a “V” with his fingers and claims that Vorcaro and Flávio are “together in this process.” While some legislators advocate amplifying the motif, they acknowledge there is no formal directive from the Lula campaign or the party’s congressional bloc. When asked about the development, a member of Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign team replied that the focus would shift to emphasizing the “L” of “larão” (thief) in response. The episode illustrates how opposition forces are repurposing campaign imagery for political satire ahead of the 2026 elections.
